Hercules and the Sea Nymphs

Design sketch for a residential commission. The inspiration for the mural originated from a painting titled the Three Women of the Apocalypse. The idea melded Greco-Roman mythology and a lazy day on the French Rivera circa 1950's Hollywood version replete with Kirk Douglas Hercules. See the "Street Smart" page for a photo of the actual painted version on the client's swimming pool retaining wall.
