Little Girl and Flowers_2014

Oil and commerical paint on canvas. Dimensions-24"x72".

magritte's Drones

stage one of Magritte's Drones. A blue gray acrylic backdrop. Got that institutional grey blue-green. Went over with oils in white and yellow. The drones are stenciled and Magritte's man in the bowler hat is wheatpasted. Proceeding layers will be a series of oil layers and photo-stencils and pasted images, finalizing with a thick coat of damar varnish.
Alot of tweeking the composition and image over the coming weeks. I will post each layer.

buzz

gotten into the habit of applying
traditional techniques to
the new
and accessible resources,
the utility box.
Oils, paint sticks, damar varnish.
It's a good cover. It confuses the authorities.
The air of artistic authority
 allows me to paint in
broad daylight,
and the fact I don't look sixteen
doesn't hurt either.

"Let the good times roll in San Diego

History repeats itself, only the settings change.
The mob politics...pogrom tactics...purges as revolution...SDUSD needs a history sensitivity course.
If you're a teacher this cartoon is crystal as are the players portrayed.

Your Move Creep.

Big thank you to my wife, who wondered out loud,"Where's RoboCop when we need him?" while watching  the Donald Sterling fiasco on CNN,
Oh and special Thanks to donald. On a slow morning you tore me from my shiftless heredity to whip this out.

Sincerely,
One of the lazy beer-drinking stinky brown masses you so fear.
